Nonprofit to host bird clay shoot fundraiser

VICTORIA, Texas - A local nonprofit is hosting a bird clay shoot fundraiser in May.

Victoria Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit organization that began in 1983 as an idea of a former Victoria Police Department chief.

The organization serves as way for local law enforcement agencies to receive information on crimes.

The clay shoot fundraiser is set for Saturday, May 11 at the Victoria Skeet and Trap Club, located at 2616 Perimeter Road.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the shooting starts at 9 a.m. with teams made up of five members, a four person team plus a local law enforcement team member.
