Missing Rome teen returned home Tuesday morning
ROME — A 13-year-old girl returned home Tuesday morning after being reported missing in Rome Monday night, according to the Rome Police Department. Police said the teenager was last seen leaving her residence at about 8:18 p.m. Monday and the authorities were notified. Police said the girl then returned home before 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Four dogs recovering; owner charged in Deansboro
DEANSBORO — A 51-year-old man is facing multiple counts of animal cruelty after four emaciated dogs were seized from his Deansboro home in late March. Authorities said the four severely emaciated dogs were taken in by the Central New York SPCa after they were rescued from the home of 51-year-old Brian Bridge on March 18.
