Motorcyclist Airlifted With Serious Injuries Following Crash on Route 8
OAKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say an area man was airlifted with serious injuries after he crashed his motorcycle on Route 8. According to a Tuesday evening news release, Franklin-based State Police responded to a motorcycle crash on State Route 8, near Kaneville Road, in Oakland Township, Venango County, around 4:14 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.
School District budget not yet balanced
The Titusville Area School District is wrestling with a stubborn $285,000 proposed budget deficit, as work continues ahead of a June budget deadline. District Business Manager Shawn Sampson provided an update on the current condition of the in-progress budget proposal during the monthly committee meeting of the board of school directors, Monday. The proposal in its current form calls for tax increases for district residents in Crawford and Warren counties, paired with a tax decrease for northern Venango County.

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Crawford County woman is facing charges regarding the theft of a victim’s credit card in Monroe Township, Clarion County. Jamestown teen dies in crash on West Jamestown road
Investigators say a Jeep was speeding before crashing along a Mercer County Road late Sunday, killing the driver.
