San Angelo Woman Sentenced for Assaulting Teen Boy
SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo woman agreed a plea deal in district court Wednesday for sexually assaulting a minor here in 2021. Sokha Loth, 44, of San Angelo, agreed to the details of the plea deal this morning on two counts of Sexual Assault of a Child. According to court documents, on February 21, 2023, the child victim was interviewed, and he stated that on Sunday, October 17, 2021, the defendant, identified as Loth, picked him up in her SUV across the street from his residence around 11:00 p.m. Learn More Here.

Lonnie Haley Confirmed Dead By County Officials
SAN ANGELO, TX - County officials have confirmed the death of Lonnie Haley, a troubled local homeless man who has been in and out of jail numerous times in recent years. The confirmation came today, April 30. Speculation started to stir on social media regarding his death yesterday. According to the District Clerk’s Office, Haley has been arrested hundreds of times. As of 6:00 pm Wednesday, the majority of the Concho Valley (including San Angelo and Tom Green County) was under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, until at least 9pm, meaning conditions are favorable for the development of storms capable of producing large hail and high wind. Forecast models continue to suggest a line of storms will build tonight in the Concho Valley and move to the east and out of our area after midnight. We may also see some light rain showers early on Thursday morning to begin our day. A cold front moves into the area Thursday evening into Friday, and may stall, which could lead to more storms and rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures Thursday and Friday are forecast to reach the low 90’s while the 80’s are expected this weekend.
