23-year-old Blanchard man dies in motorcycle crash
BLANCHARD, Okla. — A 23-year-old died late Saturday night after crashing his motorcycle in McClain County. At around 11:30 p.m., the man was traveling northbound on State Highway 76 in Blanchard when he departed the roadway to the right, struck a mailbox and then struck a highway sign. The driver, who was identified as Colby Hubers from Blanchard, was thrown approximately 21 feet from the motorcycle, according to a crash report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Mustang Police introduces new K-9 unit
After four weeks of training in Texas, Mustang Police Sgt. Jeremy Collinson recently helped introduce the department’s new K-9 unit. K-9 Officer Baron, a one-year-old German Shepherd who came to the Mustang Police Department from Poland, is the newest in a line of K-9 officers that MPD has had on call.
