Vandalia High School Competes in Envirothon Event
Vandalia High School did well at this years regional Envirothon Competition at Ballard Nature Center on April 9th. The senior team consisting of Conner McCall, Carson Lotz, Conner Thierry, Kaylee Rosenkoetter, and Kanon Wollermann got first overall and will represent Land Use Council 10 at the state Envirothon Competition in May. The junior team of Carlie Graumenz, Jay Keck, Sophia McNealy, Jayden Rosetto, and Brandon Simmons received a first place in both the Aquatics and 5th Category of Renewable Energy. Isaac Forbes and Ayden Pryor went as alternates. They are coached by Doug Forbes, science teacher at Vandalia High School.
