On September 14, 2023, several incidents occurred in various locations. Richard Leroy Kline Jr. reported a court order violation at a Gulf Park Estates address. Harley Damon Whaley reported a burglary at another Gulf Park Estates address. A commercial burglary was reported by Jackson County recreational personnel at a Vancleave location.

Two men were hospitalized after a road rage shooting and crash on Interstate 10 in Moss Point, Mississippi. The incident occurred when the victims' vehicle was shot by individuals in another vehicle while both were traveling westbound on I-10. Both cars crashed into each other, and three men fled the scene. In another incident, Daniel Tenner was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a Mississippi woman during a Facebook Marketplace transaction. Additionally, the death of a student at Ocean Springs Middle School resurfaced painful memories of bullying. Lastly, a Pascagoula woman recalled witnessing the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001.
