An early-morning shooting in the parking lot of Something Special VIP in New Bern has left one person dead and another injured. The New Bern Police Department says they dispatched officers to the 1900 block of MLK Jr. Blvd. on Saturday, April 27, shortly before 4 a.m. after receiving reports of a gunshot victim.
