LINCOLN, Maine (WABI) - A local funeral home owner accused of theft was arrested Sunday morning, police have confirmed to TV5. Authorities tell TV5 Harold “Chip” Lamson, 53, was taken into custody without incident at his home and charged with two counts of felony theft, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

LINCOLN, Maine — Police on Thursday said they are investigating a Maine funeral home owner for theft. Harold "Chip" Lawson, who owns Lamson Funeral Home, misused funds from funeral trusts established through the business, the Lincoln Police Department said in a statement. The funeral home has locations in Lincoln, Millinocket, and Danforth, according to its website.
