Friends of Veterans event nets $20K for Honor Flight
OTTOVILLE — Friends of Veteran’s, VFW Post 3740-Ottoville recently held a Quarterless Auction to benefit Honor Flight. Volunteers received donations from 229 businesses/individuals which donated cash or prizes. This equaled 107 baskets and 10 big items ($300 )
Crestview PBIS students for April
CONVOY — Crestview High School awarded its third round of PBIS incentives to 15 high school students for the month of April. To be eligible for the drawing, students had to have all assignments turned in within the reporting period which began the first week of the quarter through the last Friday in April.
Butterfly Release at Ann’s Bright Beginnings
Ann’s Bright Beginnings preschoolers recently ordered caterpillars from California. We watched them grow and grow and GROW until they formed a chrysalis. They then emerged into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. On a beautiful spring day, we were able to have a butterfly release. Some of the butterflies allowed us to hold them before they flew away to freedom. What an awesome experience! Are you needing summer care for your child? Auglaize and Mercer County residents get know WOCAP's mission and staff
AUGLAIZE COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The West Ohio Community Action Partnership, also known as WOCAP, invited the public to meet their new CEO. WOCAP held open houses at their Auglaize County (38 E. Auglaize Street, Wapakoneta, OH 45895) and Mercer County (420 N. Brandon Avenue, Celina, OH 45822) locations this afternoon. Visitors were welcome to learn more about the services they offer, meet the staff, and meet the new CEO, Kim Bruns, who was appointed to the position on April 1st, after serving as interim CEO.
