    Drunk, unlicensed driver totals sedan on ‘slow speed turn’ in San Bernardino County

    A man who was never issued a driver’s license was drunk when he totaled his vehicle in Upland, police said.

    According to a post on X, formerly Twitter , by the Upland Police Department, the driver of the Toyota Corolla “had some difficulty navigating what should have been a slow speed turn” in a residential area.

    The exact time and location of the crash were not disclosed.

    Footage from the scene shows the heavily damaged Corolla on its roof next to several parked cars, two of which were struck, police confirmed.

    The driver – an unidentified man – was found to be three times over the legal Blood Alcohol Concentration limit of 0.08% . Further investigation revealed that he had never been issued a driver’s license, Upland police said.

    He was booked into county jail for driving under the influence.

    No injuries were reported.
