Eagle Pass resident strikes it rich with $1 million Powerball prize
AUSTIN - Someone in Eagle Pass is a whole lot richer. The Texas Lottery announced Thursday that an Eagle Pass resident claimed a $1 million Powerball prize. The ticket was for the drawing on May 25, and was purchased at the Road Ranger N0. 270 off North Interstate 35 in Moore, Texas, about 42 miles southeast of San Antonio.
