Suspect dead after cross-county pursuit, officer-involved shooting in west Alabama
GREENE COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - A person is dead after shots were allegedly fired and led police on a chase from Northport into Greene County. The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) reports that Northport Police were conducting a traffic stop in the 4000 block of McFarland Boulevard at approximately 11:15 Thursday night when shots were fired and the vehicle fled the scene.
