UA New College class aims to share gardening resources to the Tuscaloosa community
New College class 226 Organic Farming has been working with Jeremiah’s Community Garden in Tuscaloosa to help complete tasks at the garden and gain educational experiences. According to the garden’s website, its mission is “to produce healthy fresh fruits and vegetables, and support the charitable work of feeding the hungry, thereby demonstrating Holy Spirit Catholic Church’s commitment to the common good. The garden also serves as an educational/work site for students, and involves volunteers from the community at large.”
