Migrant stabbed to death outside NYC shelter converted from dorm space
A migrant was stabbed to death on Sunday morning after getting into an argument with another man outside the East Harlem migrant shelter where they both lived, police said. Argeyeris Martinez, 29, got into a dispute with a fellow migrant, Oscar Gonzalez, 30, when he was stabbed in the chest at around 4:02 a.m. on Third Avenue and East 97th Street, NYPD cops said. An off-duty NYPD cop died in an upstate car crash Friday evening, officials said. The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory at 11:27 a.m. on Monday valid for Monday between noon and 8 p.m. for Franklin and Clinton counties. A Fort Lee woman is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and related crimes following the fatal overdose of a 12-year-old girl, according to a news statement.
