Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce to host annual ‘Taste of Trussville’ event

With loads of new restaurants and a slew of beloved favorites in Trussville, you might be wondering how you can try them all! Well, that’s why the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is excited to present its annual Taste of Trussville event on May 9 at the Trussville Civic Center.

Taste of Trussville will feature food samples from area restaurants and bakeries, with live entertainment provided by Cashmere Williams. More than 20 restaurants and bakeries are expected to participate, and ticket holders can enjoy food from each and every one. Guests will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite vendor.

Sponsored by TurnerBatson, event tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on the chamber website or at the chamber office in Trussville.

Taste of Trussville also serves as a kickoff for Trussville Restaurant Week (TRW), taking place from May 10 to May 26, also hosted by the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce along with presenting sponsor, Trussville To Go.

Designed to give restaurants an opportunity to showcase signature dishes and offer special deals and discounts, TRW will also feature Restaurant Bingo! Pick up your Bingo cards at Taste of Trussville or participating restaurants and play by getting stamps on your card when you make a purchase at participating restaurants. Bingo cards can be turned in to participating restaurants or the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce to be entered into drawings for prizes.
