Plattsburg celebrates the past with new mural
(PLATTSBURG, Mo.) Artist Daniel Bartle has begun painting a mural at Tinnen Town Hall to honor the past of Jefferson Highway which ran through Plattsburg. Jefferson Highway was founded around 1915, one of the first major highways in North America, and ran through Plattsburg, right next to the town hall. The building is a part of the city's history itself, which, in the days of Jefferson Highway, used to sell Model T cars.
