Man arrested after police-related items, drugs, weapons found in home
UPDATE: The Drug Task Force has identified the suspect as 34-year-old Mark Ditto. PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WEST TENNESSEE DRUG TASK FORCE (4/25/24):. Agents out of the 29th Judicial District in Dyersburg along with investigators with the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office were serving an arrest warrant in Dyersburg around 8 p.m. this date. The subject had hidden himself in his house on 1st Avenue and agents made entry to make the arrest. While searching for the subject inside, a loaded rifle was found in the subjects bedroom. The subject who was on probation, had 9 prior felony convictions. A probation search conducted on the home resulted in the seizure of additional rifle magazines, a vest, handcuffs, a police baton, ammunition, police scanner, a red and blue light, and approximately 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Agents with the 29th District out of Dyersburg along with Investigators from Dyer County Sheriff’s Office were conducting surveillance on a hotel at approximately 11:00 p.m. on 4/25/24 when they observed a male suspect enter a room briefly and then to loiter around in the parking lot.
