Anthony Roberts, a 47-year-old resident from Chillicothe, was arrested on a Tuesday. He is accused of failing to appear in court for a previous charge related to operating a vehicle with a revoked or suspended license. Stephens Sentence For Theft From Chillicothe Police and Livingston County Sheriff Departments
Former Chillicothe Police Officer, 40-year-old Jeremy Stephens of Brookfield, was sentenced on the charge of theft of at least $750 from the Chillicothe Police Department and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. The sentence was handed down by Judge R Brent Elliot and includes 5 years probation, 30 days shock time at Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail, and restitution of $3,153. The restitution will be paid out of the posted bond, with the remainder to be paid while on probation.

Several Serious Injury Accidents Over The Weekend
Four serious injury crashes in the area counties were investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol over the weekend. Saturday at about 3:50 pm, a two-vehicle crash south of Marceline on Highway 5 left one driver and their passenger with serious injuries. A 16-year-old Brookfield girl was eastbound and pulled into the path of a trash truck. The girl and her passenger, 26-year-old Corbin Cochrell of Marceline were taken to University Hospital in Columbia. The truck driver was not injured.
