Hounds drop two at Pella soccer round-robin
PELLA – The Fort Madison Bloodhounds went up on Hwy. 163 Saturday to take on Pella and Class 3A No. 4. ADM in a round robin tournament. The Hounds showed up and battled two of the better soccer teams in the state, falling to Pella 2-0 and then losing to ADM 1-0. The Hounds held both teams to 0-0 halftime scores, but the Dutch would score one of its goals at the 18-minute mark of the 2nd period and then again at the 22 minute mark, and then held the shutout.
