ODESSA, Texas — For nearly a year, Pete McGarrity has watched construction crews reshape Faudree Road just outside his barbershop window. The orange cones, detours, and reduced lanes cost him customers he may never get back. Now, as the multi-million dollar reconstruction project enters its final phase, McGarrity says the mood among business owners along the corridor is cautiously optimistic — but far from settled.
