Police: Suspects wanted for 2 pizzeria burglaries in Toms River

Toms River police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects responsible for two recent pizzeria burglaries.

Authorities say burglars entered Pizza and Panini on Route 37 Friday just before 4 a.m. by shattering the front door with a large stone paver. They then took a large sum of cash from the register.

A similar incident happened less than five minutes away at Singas Pizza, according to police. The window of the business was broken, and cash was also stolen.

A sign on the door of Singas Pizza on Saturday said the business was closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Police have yet to confirm if the two incidents are related. Anyone with information is urged to call 732-349-0150.
