TOMS RIVER - The Southern Regional High School softball team defeated Toms River South 12-4 on Wednesday. Emily Evans got the win on the mound. Kylie Roberts and Madelyn Duralek went 3 for 5 at the plate to lead Southern. Duralek hit a home run. Southern's record is 9-2. Kylie Roberts recently got her 100th career hit. STAFFORD - The Rams want to win the Shore Conference Class A South division. They got a strong game to continue to point towards that goal with Monday's 11-3 victory. Gabe Tomei hit a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the first to lead Southern to an 11-3 victory over Toms River East on Monday afternoon. That triple put the Rams ahead 3-1. Summit Sailing competes at the NJISA Spring Fleet Championships
TOMS RIVER, NJ -- The SHS Sailing Team competed at the NJISA Spring Fleet Championships this past weekend at Toms River Yacht Club. Brady Parkes, Brynn Penque, Grace Penque, Elena Carranza, Elodie Hellmuth, and Michael Creel represented SHS. Over the course of this two-day qualifier, the team’s A and B boats battled through 22 races in conditions that shifted dramatically from cloudy to sunny, from 50 degrees to 70 degrees, and from no wind to white caps and back again to no wind. Nonetheless, it was a fun weekend and the team learned a lot." BARNEGAT - The Lady Bengals Lacrosse Team remained undefeated after defeating Toms River North Wednesday afternoon at home. Ella Tortorici had three goals and two assists to lead Barnegat. Tortorici, Carroll push Barnegat past Toms River East - Girls lacrosse recap
Ella Tortorici scored a game-high four goals, helping propel Barnegat to a 13-8 victory over Toms River East in a big battle between unbeaten squads in Barnegat.
