Chicopee event to help fight hunger, food insecurity in the city Thursday
CHICOPEE — Amid rising costs and the strain of inflation, Chicopee, like many U.S. communities, is battling hunger and food insecurity. On Thursday at 11, the Boys and Girls Club of Chicopee, Price Rite Marketplace and Feed the Children will host an event to help in the fight, by assisting more than 400 preselected local families with food, and other household and school supplies.
