3-year-old boy drowns in Togiak Bay
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A 3-year-old boy in Southwest Alaska drowned on Thursday in the ocean, according to the Alaska State Troopers. Troopers said the boy fell into Togiak Bay around 1 p.m. and was unresponsive when an adult pulled him out of the water. He was taken to the clinic in Togiak where he was pronounced dead.

A 3-year-old boy died Thursday after falling into water during an accident in Togiak, Alaska State Troopers said. An online dispatch said that a trooper based in Togiak, a village of about 770 people nearly 70 miles west of Dillingham, was notified of the incident at about 1 p.m. Thursday.
