East Orosi remains clogged in wastewater woes
REEDLEY – Over the weekend of April 5, raw sewage backed up into the yards and homes of two or three East Orosi residents, which was another incident in the community’s 20-year-long fight to obtain what a lawyer – who represents some residents – described as a struggle to obtain “a safe and healthy life.”

Highway 190 open from Cedar Slope to its end
Caltrans announced on Thursday Highway 190 between Cedar Slope and the end of Highway 190 to Quaking Aspen and the Western Divide Highway is set to be open. Caltrans stated that portion of Highway 190 would be open by 5 p.m. today. But those traveling over Highway 190 above Springville should still expect delays along the entire stretch, including above Cedar Slope. Some stretches above Cedar Slope will be under one-way traffic control whil construction still progresses.
