MHP opens first phase of PRICE-DREAM Initiative

This week MHP announced the opening of the DREAM Tribal Rehabilitation funding opportunity—the first component of the regional $20.3 million federal Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) award, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). PRICE is a national HUD initiative supporting manufactured housing (also known as “mobile homes”) communities across the country. MHP and CoNorth were selected to administer the program in the Upper Midwest, supporting communities across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. This initial release includes the Tribal Rehabilitation program, implemented by MHP. Additional PRICE-funded opportunities for Resident-Owned Communities (ROCs) will be offered in early 2026. “Everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home—no matter where we live or where we are from” said Anne Mavity, Executive Director of MHP. “Manufactured housing has long offered that stability across the Upper Midwest, and this launch will ensure that Native Nations have the resources they need to strengthen the homes and communities they’ve built. This funding honors local leadership and supports the solutions communities themselves have identified.” DREAM Tribal Rehabilitation Program —Applications Open The DREAM Tribal Rehabilitation program provides funding for Native Nations in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin
