BREAKAWAY Music Festival 2024: What to expect and NÜTRL’s surprise

TAMPA, Fla. (BLOOM) — The Breakaway Music Festival is set to rock Tampa Bay at Raymond James Stadium this Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, from 5 p.m. to midnight. With an impressive lineup, exciting after-parties, and a surprise performance by NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer , this festival promises an unforgettable experience.

The Lineup

The festival’s headliners are some of the hottest names in electronic dance music. On Friday, Illenium and Kaskade will lead the charge, with other performers like ACRAZE, Said the Sky, and Ravenscoon joining them. Saturday’s lineup features Zedd and SOFI TUKKER, along with Crankdat, Dion Timmer, and many more. There will be local talent too, with DJs Pushman, Myr, and Taylorlace adding their unique sounds to the mix. A silent disco will also be running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. both days, offering three different music stations for attendees to choose from.

Tickets

If you haven’t got your tickets yet, don’t worry— it’s not too late. Two-day general admission tickets start at $189, and single-day tickets are available from $99. College students can grab one-day tickets for $65 with a valid school email. VIP tickets start at $184, offering a more exclusive festival experience.

Getting There

With thousands of festival-goers expected, traffic around the stadium will be hectic. Drivers can park in designated lots, with prices starting at $43. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft will drop off and pick up at Steinbrenner Field, a short walk from the stadium. If you’re using public transport, HART bus routes 7, 15, 32, 36, and 45 service the area.

After Parties

The party doesn’t stop when the festival ends. Friday night’s after-parties include Matroda, Taylorlace, and Pushman at The Ritz Ybor, and Gudfella with 8DN and Brett Michael at Ivy Rose. On Saturday, Zuezeu, DMZ, and Flaco will be at BAR HWRD, while Crankdat, Myr, and Wilco Beats take over The Ritz Ybor.

What Not to Bring

Before you head to the festival, be aware of the prohibited items. These include large bags, professional cameras, glow sticks, and food or beverages from outside. Pets and hoverboards are also on the list, along with other potentially dangerous items.

What to Bring

Permitted items include clear bags, small non-clear bags, unopened packs of cigarettes, and prescription medication. You can also bring clear, empty hydration packs, flags without poles, and glowing costumes or jewelry.
