Roegner achieves spring 2024 Dean’s List at Belmont University
NASHVILLE – Annaliese Roegner, of Gladbrook, was named among the students who qualified for Belmont University’s spring 2024 Dean’s List. Approximately 44% of the University’s 7,338 undergraduate students qualified for the spring 2024 Dean’s List. Dean’s List eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
MIYBT members earn Scholarships
Mid-Iowa Youth Beef Team members, Olivia Hanson (Union High School), Ryan Hosek (North Tama High School), William Kroneman (Benton Community High School), Kaylynn Murty (South Tama High School), and Adelynn Sienknecht (North Tama High School) each earned a $2,000 Iowa Youth Beef Team Scholarship from the Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation. Each member is also awarded an additional $500 for earning their Masters of Beef Advocacy certification.
Area high school students to earn MCC degree before high school diploma
It’s not often that a high school student will earn a college degree before receiving his/her high school diploma, but twenty-one area seniors are on track to do just that. Earning a high school diploma may seem like a common accomplishment. The fact that such a high number of area high school students took advantage of being able to take college classes at no cost the same time as they were taking high school credits and earning the college degree or diploma is a huge accomplishment.
