TRUCKEE, Calif. – If you’re looking for a place to make all of your baked good dreams come true, the new Coffeebar Bakery has you covered. The newest addition to the Coffeebar family opened Friday, May 3 to an excited group of patrons, eager to sample the new bakery-exclusive treats. The brand new space will feature an extensive coffee and tea menu, fresh baked pastries, alongside both breakfast and lunch options.
Forest Service announces spring facility opening dates at Lake Tahoe
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit has begun the process of opening National Forest recreational facilities in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Before recreation sites can be fully opened to the public, the Forest Service must complete seasonal hiring of crews and staff to manage sites, clean up from winter, remove safety hazards such as damaged trees and wait for the danger of a freeze to pass before turning on water systems for restrooms. All opening dates are subject to change, due to conditions and weather.

The Mane Event celebrates Between Horses and Humans, Cowork Tahoe
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Tickets are now on sale for the second annual Mane Event, a fundraiser for Between Horses and Humans, a youth-oriented nonprofit serving Douglas County and the Lake Tahoe area that teaches kids life skills through horsemanship. The Mane Event is Saturday, June 1, from 2-5 p.m. at Cowork Tahoe, 3079 Harrison Ave. in South Lake Tahoe.
