The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person. Richard A. Smith, 69, Warsaw, was last seen at his residence on April 25, 2024, in the evening hours. On the morning of April 26, Smith was not at his residence and no contact has been made with him.

Former teacher held on child seduction charge
GOSHEN — The former assistant theater director for Bethany Christian Schools is accused of having a sexual relationship with an underage student. Kyle Snyder, 26, is charged with five counts of child seduction as a Level 5 felony after his arrest Tuesday. Police say he had an inappropriate relationship with a student for about a year, until her parents reported him in late April.
Charges filed in fatal crash near New Paris
GOSHEN — Charges have been filed against a Bargersville man accused of causing the death of his passenger in a high-speed rollover crash earlier this year. Lakhwinder Singh, 23, faces two counts of causing death when operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a Level 4 felony, in court documents filed Tuesday. One count alleges that he had an alcohol concentration equivalent of at least .08 at the time.

Milestone Contractors, a construction company headquartered in Indianapolis with offices around the state, faces proposed penalties of $7,000 following an inspection by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
