General manager of Luzerne County tow company accused of stealing half-million dollars over several years
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A long-time employee of a Luzerne County towing business stole more than $500,000 from his employer, WIlkes-Barre police said. Michael Cicon, 56, of Wyoming, skimmed cash off the top of Falzone Towing Service bills and misused company credit cards from January, 2020, through this year, city detectives James Fisher, Michael McGrath and James Noone charged in a criminal complaint. Cicon worked as general manager of the business for years.
Two years shaved from father’s sentence for infant son’s death
WILKES-BARRE — An attorney successfully argued for a sentence reduction but not what he had hoped. Jacob Emmanuel Campbell, 26, was re-sentenced Tuesday by Luzerne County Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. to 14-to-30 years in state prison for causing fatal injuries to his 2-month-old son, Jayceon Campbell, in November 2022.
