Council refuses to replace Dhaliwal on SEDD Board
In a contentious meeting on Tuesday night, the Monroe City Council decided against removing Karl Dhaliwal from the SouthSide Economic Development District (SEDD) Board of Commissioners, despite efforts from the Monroe Chamber of Commerce to replace him. The decision came after a narrow 3-2 vote, with council members Doug Harvey and Gretchen Ezernak voting for Dhaliwal’s removal.
