‘6 Regions 1 Nebraska’ aims to help improve Nebraska communities
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The statewide plan of “6 Regions 1 Nebraska” aims to help communities like North Platte with population growth and growth throughout the state. The is being implemented by Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen to divide the state into different regions to focus on making Nebraska a more enjoyable state to call home. This program also encourages the regions to focus on improving themselves to attract people to move there. This three-year state-funded program is all about getting people interested in moving, working, and living in Nebraska, according to chairman/CEO of the North Platte Area Chamber Development Corporation Gary Person.
