Halloween enthusiasts, mark your calendars! 13th World Fright Park is set to host its first-ever "Halfway to Halloween" event on Saturday, May 18, to celebrate the midpoint of the 2024 Halloween season.

Every year around the end of April, the phones start ringing. Customers want to know: “When will the asparagus ice cream be ready?”. Anywhere else, it would be an absurd question. But at Flayvors of Cook Farm in Hadley, the phone calls mark a ramp-up to one of the ice cream shop’s most popular traditions — ice cream made with real locally grown asparagus, lovingly known as “Hadley Grass” in Western Mass.
