Members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts, & More make one-of-a-kind cards and scrapbooks for friends and family all year long. But not all paper crafting entails using paper, scissors and glue.

The club’s digital scrapbook enthusiasts have been meeting regularly to work on creating personalized digital scrapbook pages, which they then incorporate into professionally published books for family and friends.

When they meet, the members share tips and techniques on creating and designing personally tailored photo pages while assisting one another in learning the creative capabilities of the scrapbook program.

Card makers had an opportunity to take a new class when Jana Fogle showed how to weave designer paper strips in coordinating colors to make a unique basket weave pattern as the focal point for the front of a greeting card.

New members attended an orientation class to learn about the club’s equipment and become familiarized with the basic tools that are useful when building their personal crafting kit.

Learn how to make greeting cards, papercrafts and scrapbooks (traditional or digital) by joining SPAM in Rec Center’s Agave Room on Thursdays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Call club president Lynne Marion at 440-666-6386 for more information.
