COLUMBIA, Mo - MU Health Care's Columbia campus has earned the Joint Commission's Comprehensive Cardiac Center (CCC) Certification. This recognizes the highest level of coordinated, evidence-based cardiovascular care available. This designation is among the most rigorous certifications awarded to cardiac programs nationwide and is reserved for health systems that demonstrate excellence across all aspects of heart care. MU Health Care is among 28 Joint Commission Comprehensive Cardiac Centers in the nation to receive this designation, and one of only five in Missouri.
