JMU Women’s Tennis falls to App State, 4-3, in Sun Belt Tournament
ROME, Ga. (JMU Athletics) – No. 10 James Madison claimed three singles courts in straight sets, but No. 7 App State rallied for the doubles point and won two of its three singles bouts in three sets to earn a 4-3 win against the Dukes Thursday afternoon in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Tennis Championship at the Rome Tennis Center.
Montgomery completes season sweep of Lady Phoenix in softball, 15-3
BOONEVILLE- Sugar Valley’s softball team had confidence entering their meeting with Montgomery on Thursday night in a Mid Penn Conference softball clash. The Lady Phoenix were coming off of a big 13-3 win over Millville and were looking to avenge their 11-1 loss to the Lady Raiders on the road earlier this season.
