Racine's WRJN-AM/FM switch back to oldies music after a year of progressive talk
Racine radio stations WRJN-AM (1400) and FM (99.9/98.1) have gone back to oldies music, after carrying a progressive-talk format for less than a year. Civic Media, the Wisconsin news/progressive-talk radio network that acquired the Racine stations in 2023, said Tuesday that it was dropping the network's talk format for WRJN in favor of "Local News and Timeless Hits," a music format featuring artists including the Beatles, Elvis Presley and the Supremes.
