After trauma or loss, some individuals take up a new hobby, move or change their routine so as not to remind themselves of the trauma or loss. In SolArt Center’s first summer exhibit of 2024, “Fine (not) Fine,” three local artists put the emotions of their trauma or loss into a work of art. They created art in reaction to being misunderstood by doctors, the human responsibility for climate change and coping with the grief of a spouse’s death.

WAYNESBORO – Waynesboro High School has a structural problem. “We struggle with a bit when we give tours,” explained Superintendent Jeffrey Cassell. “People who may want to come [work for] Augusta Health and Northrop Grumman or other local businesses and industries, they want to tour the schools.
