Breaking News: Arrest made by Lexington Police at local traffic stop
Officers with the Lexington Police Department arrested Gabriel Pastrana, age 20, of Winston-Salem, following a traffic stop on Winston Road earlier this week. Further investigation by officers during the stop indicated that Pastrana was found to be wearing a tactical vest with body armor and was in possession of a pistol grip AK-47 with extra loaded magazines.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman in Greensboro says she’s scared to sleep at her home after someone lit fireworks on her front step. She lives off Old Oak Ridge Road. She told WFMY News 2 there have been multiple incidents where someone has sprayed a fire extinguisher at her front door and lit fireworks. She told us at one point, someone broke her front glass door.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A letter is being mailed out claiming you owe taxes. The letter says 'Your Property May Be Seized' and that this is the "Final Demand For Payment'. "That's the language that scammers use to try and scare you into paying without you doing some due diligence on your part. Scammers try to make it hard to find out what agency you need to reach out to, they throw in a couple of legit-sounding agencies so you are confused about who you might owe the debt to," said Lechelle Yates of the Better Business Bureau.
