Nesting boxes installed to protect osprey
STOCKTON, Mo. (KY3) - A Stockton, Missouri couple is being watched closely after losing their nest. The osprey pair came into contact with one of Liberty Utilities’ electric lines in 2014. The birds were not injured, but this did cause a fire, damaging the transmission tower and line. The pair have since rebuilt their nest on the utility pole.
