Sarah Petersen appears in court today
ABC 6 NEWS — Sarah Petersen, the second person charged in a Fillmore County buggy crash that killed two children, will be making her first appearance in court today. Peterson has been charged with a total of 16 felonies, including four charges of taking responsibility for a criminal act.
Chatfield couple accused of not paying more than $400,000 in state taxes
ST. PAUL, Minn. – A Chatfield couple has been charged with state tax fraud. According to the Minnesota Department of Revenue, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office is accusing Jeffrey Paul O’Connor and Trisha Jean O’Connor of six felony counts each of failing to file individual income tax returns. Jeffrey O’Connor is also charged with six felony counts of failing to file corporate income tax returns.
Auto accident Thursday morning near Byron
OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation says an auto accident has happened on eastbound US Highway 14. It happened around 7:30 am between County Road 34 and 10th Avenue NE near Byron. Watch for traffic problems in the area.
