Inmates Support Girl Scout Cookie Sale
Inmates at the State Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania have shown their support for the Girl Scouts by selling cookies. The institution's Inmate Service Organization (ISO) sold a total of 850 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, with all proceeds going to Girl Scout Troop 11062 of Harrisburg. The funds will assist the troop with various programs, supplies, and patches. An additional donation of $1,144.08 was also presented to the troop, collected from extra donations made by the inmates.
