LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Joel Stinnett) — Wawa Inc. is coming to south Louisville, according toLouisville Business First. The Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain has applied for a Land Development Code waiver for a new store at 5229 Dixie Highway, according to a filing with Louisville Metro Planning and Design. The waiver is for a drive aisle on the property.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Clarksville Indiana Arts Commission is looking for ideas for a new metal art installation to commemorate the historic Indiana State Prison. The prison first opened in Jeffersonville in 1822 on Market Street, but was moved to Clarksville in October 1847. The prison housed both men and women, but became a reformatory for men only in 1873.
