Forked River Woman Charged with Stealing over $100,000 from Local Construction Company

STAFFORD - Stafford Police recently arrested a 50-year-old Forked River woman for theft of over $100,000 from a local business.

On February 27, 2024, the Stafford Township Police Department received a report of theft from Macko Construction, and reported that over $100,000 was stolen from their business account.

A thorough investigation conducted by the Stafford Township Detective Bureau led to the arrest of Dawn Sanzari on March 25, 2024.

Sanzari was charged with 2nd Degree Theft by Deception and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card on a complaint summons, and released pending a future court appearance.

As a reminder, the Stafford Township Police Department does not release arrest photos of defendants, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
