CAMDEN HARBOR, Maine (WABI) - You may have seen some incredible pictures of two humpback whales spotted in Camden harbor earlier this week. We caught up with a Michigan truck driver and amateur photographer who says he was ‘extremely lucky’ to be on a boat tour when it happened.

Local Musicians will Seranade at the 76th Annual Garden Tour
Come July 18, Camden Garden Club will invite Garden Tour guests to visit five unique properties while enjoying the repertoire of seven talented musicians. It will be a day that offers an expansive listening opportunity for every guest. Inspired by the successful introduction of musical accompaniment at the 2023 Tour, this year, talented musicians will play all genres of music ranging from rock to classical piano, from Celtic folk music to violin solos.
Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop to help students with summer reading lists
For the first time ever, Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop is offering a half-price sale on books that appear on schools’ summer reading lists. Rosie Bensen, co-manager of the shop, explained: “Recently, the Maine State Library announced that the popular interlibrary loan program would shut down temporarily, but for much of the summer. One of our volunteers wondered if this would make it difficult for students to get the books they need to fulfill summer reading requirements. Another volunteer suggested the sale.
