According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers witnesses a vehicle drive through the intersection of Adams Street and Dwight Street Extension without stopping at the stop sign. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle on Adams Street but the driver, 21-year-old Randy Perez-Coiscou of Springfield, did not stop immediately.

Officers searched the vehicle and seized the marijuana, as well as THC cartridges and an illegal loaded firearm equipped with a Glock switch that makes it a fully automatic machine gun.
