Residents discuss opposition to solar farms at public hearing on proposed zoning changes in Herkimer
HERKIMER — The Town of Herkimer’s monthly board meeting took place following a public hearing on Monday, May 20, at the Herkimer High School Cafeteria, 801 W. German St. Upward of 50 residents attended the hearing in regards to a possible zoning change in the town, which could impact 41 residential and business parcels. Supervisor Dominic Frank said the issue arose as the town sought to reclassify several parcels from outdated zoning maps from the late 1990s, particularly commercial properties predominantly along Gros Boulevard.

KIRKLAND — A 35-year-old man is accused of striking his boss in the head with a frying pan during a dispute over money on Monday. Deputies said Stephen A.
