Medical examiner, police asking for help identifying man found dead near downtown Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Medical Examiner and the Spokane Police Department are asking for your help identifying a man who was found dead near downtown Spokane this past February.

The medical examiner's office says a man was found dead at West Boone Avenue and North Normandie Street at around 10 a.m. on Monday, February 26. The medical examiner also says they believe the man has been dead for around 12-24 hours at the time, and no foul play is suspected.

The medical examiner said the man is visually recognizable, but there was no identification found on the person and he has not been identified yet.

The medical examiner released the following description of the man:

  • Age: 20s - 40s
  • Race: Caucasian

  • Height: 6’3-6’5

  • Weight: 215lbs

  • Hair: Short reddish-brown hair, short blonde facial hair

  • Eye Color: Green

  • Marks, Scars, Tattoos: None

  • Identifiable features:

    • Mole above left lip

    • Missing right upper central incisor (front center tooth) due to decay

  • Clothing
    • 4Hunnid Black Knit Hat

    • Athletic Works Brown Zip-Up Jacket- Size XL

    • Pulse Gray Zip-Up Jacket- Size L

    • Izod Saltwater Blue Boxer Briefs- Size L

    • Dragon Ball Superhero White Graphic T-shirt- Size XXL

    • 5.11 Tactical Black T-shirt- Size XL

    • S7P Southpole Green and Black Camo Cargo Shorts

    • Brown Belt- Size 38

    • Pair of Gray Columbia Fleece Socks

    • Unbranded (due to wear) Black Tennis Shoes

  • Personal Property
    • Black metal chain necklace
    • Earbuds

    • Milwaukee knife sheath
